Paul Delacourt retired from the FBI in May 2021 after 25 years in law enforcement. Mr. Paul currently holds the position of Director of Programs at Red River Technology in Chantilly, Virginia. In addition, he is an Adjunct Lecturer at the Graham School of the University of Chicago, where he teaches Intelligence and Analysis. Mr. Delacourt retired from his position as Assistant Director of the Strategic Realignment Program Management Office at the FBI's headquarters in Washington, D.C.

Previously, he served as the Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI's Los Angeles field office for three years, where he oversaw an executive team with oversight of three operational divisions, intelligence, and mission services, as well as nearly 1,500 employees across seven counties in the Central District of California.

Paul was the special agent in charge of the FBI's Honolulu field office for three years. Before that, he led reviews of field offices, national programs, shooting incidents, and special projects while serving in the Inspection Division at FBI Headquarters (FBIHQ) in Washington, D.C.

In 1995, Mr. Delacourt began his career as an FBI special agent. He was initially assigned to the Chicago Division, where he investigated gangs and drugs. After 9/11, he was transferred to the Counterterrorism program and assigned to Chicago, Washington, and Atlanta, Georgia.

Mr. Paul served as the program manager for the Regime Crimes Liaison Office (RCLO), a presidentially mandated Department of Justice Initiative established to investigate war crimes, genocide, and crimes against humanity committed by Saddam Hussein and other members of the former Iraqi regime.

Paul Delacourt served as the FBI's liaison officer to a counter-narcotics task force at Camp Smith, Hawaii, from 2009 to 2011. He was promoted to assistant special agent in the Honolulu Division in 2012. Paul received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan and his Juris Doctor from Wayne State Law School.
